The Mk12 PEC was used in the RAF for the Tornado / M.R.C.A.

A Left-Sided PEC for low altitude, it provided connections for: breathing oxygen, anti-G trousers, and communications. It is also fitted with an "Anti-Drowning" Valve.

The layout of conenctions on te base plate are different to all previous mask PECs. Another departure from existing standards was the use of a LEMO communications connector, replacing the previously used Type 626 "NATO" socket; a 7 core cable is used, along with different connector in the PEC base plate.
